2024 season wrap-up:
Griffin was a first-team AJC all-state player in Class 5A last season despite playing only eight games, as an injury cut short his season. He had 13 tackles for losses and six sacks. He had 20 tackles for losses and nine sacks as a sophomore in a full season. He was an all-region basketball player as a junior and sophomore. Griffin is a five-star recruit and the highest-rated Gainesville prospect this century, ahead of Deshaun Watson.
